This workshop will teach you the basics of vulnerable writing to empower you on your journey
Have trouble managing your thoughts? Don’t recognize your emotions? Want to better understand your values? Need a safe space where you can disclose your feelings? Can’t distinguish your voice from an authoritative voice? Have you gone through an emotional turmoil and need to reflect? Writing can help with that.
Take charge of your growth! Don’t know where to start yet? I’ve got you. From years of experience of writing to feel better, writing to cope, writing to escape, I’ve put together an interactive writing workshop to share effective teachings and insights. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to do it alone either.
Become your own researcher, and look inward. What are you holding on to? What do you need to let go? How can you heal? Let’s start writing, together.
Included in the workshop
→ About 3 hours spent together in a safe space during an online meeting, crafted with your privacy in mind to learn more about yourself;→ A rundown of the four most effective writing styles during a presentation, individual prompts and exercises to get comfortable with each style, followed by guided personal reflection (for those who wish to share). These steps will give you instant insight into what works for you;
→ The opportunity to connect with likeminded women and non-binary folks who are ready to start or further their journey of self-growth. There is only room for 4 participants to foster an intimate setting and give everyone the space to share.

My name is Natasja. The last few years I’ve worked hard on my mental health, and I’ve learned that writing really helps me feel better. It gives me clarity when I’m confused, it’s an emotional outlet when there’s no one I can (or want to) talk with, it helps me let go of issues I’m holding on to, and it improves my language use and writing skills.
That’s not all! Writing showed me my current path. I was lost for so long, just doing what others wanted of me, sliding deeper into my depression. But even in my darkest days, I could turn to writing. Through it I rediscovered what I love—sharing my passions, helping others, and surrounding myself with like-minded people.
That’s where the Unearth Your Roots workshop comes in. Writing can be a solitary act, and it oh-so daunting, especially when you’re baring your soul. So it was really important for me to create a safe space where women and non-binary folks could share a moment together, and they wouldn’t have to feel alone or afraid.
Along the way I’ve build my theoretical framework with among others positive psychology, neuro-linguistic programming, and narrative therapy. This has allowed me to help many brave writers build their confidence and explore their sense of self. The better we know ourselves, the more fearless we become.
Vulnerable storytelling can do that for you too.
“The training was empowering, introspective, and beautiful. Natasja created a safe space for us to come together to learn about the different styles of therapeutic writing, and to discover which technique was most helpful to us. I was astounded to discover how much I was able to write for each exercise! It was also striking to discover the different emotions associated with each exercise. Overall, the entire experience was illuminating, and I was happy to discover a writing style that helped me learn more about myself and process my emotions.”
