This is the Privacy Policy of Natasja writes. Of course, I will treat all your personal information with the utmost care and confidentiality. This policy contains information on how I collect and use your personal information, why and for which purposes I use that information, and the rights you have. This policy applies when you use Natasja writes, communicate with me, and make purchases.

Data controller
Because I collect and process personal information about you, I’m subject to data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679 (GDPR). Under these laws, Natasja writes is the data controller. Natasja writes and unearth my roots are trade names of WRTTN Media, which is based in the Netherlands and is registered under number 82247129 at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK). 1.1 Testimonials
For testimonials and credibility of my services and products, I may process the data and build Customer portraits, in the form of plain text, photos or video. Natasja writes values consent so I will request the incorporation and publication of personal data. Once permission is given, Natasja writes reserves the right to share these Customer portraits publicly as a testimonial.
1.2 How do I obtain your personal data?
You provide it to me directly when you get in touch with me and give me access if you agree to cookies 🍪 When you browse Natasja writes, the data is necessary to analyse your browsing behaviour and to put together user statistics. I use this information to improve my services and my Website.
2. Purpose
On Natasja writes, I only process your personal data when I am allowed to do so by law, and for the purposes described below:
2.1 Downloads: When you place an order through my shop, I process the personal data that is necessary for the execution of our agreement. Think of your name, email address, country of residence, so that I can address you by your name, keep you informed by email, and do my taxes.
2.2 Workshops: To sign up for my workshops I will need and process personal data to execute our agreement and to do my administration (name, email address, country of residence). There are no recordings of the workshop to nurture safety and intimacy. If you provide me with additional personal data during the workshop, I will only process this with your explicit consent.
2.3 Sessions: When you book an appointment you are using a third-party that provides me with the necessary information (your name, your email, possibly your phone number, the appointment you scheduled) for our appointment. There will be no recordings of the sessions to nurture safety and intimacy. If you provide me with additional personal data during the sessions, I will only process this with your explicit consent.
2.4 Invoices: If you have purchased a product or service from me, I will process the data that is necessary for the execution of that purchase. That means your name, e-mail address, country of residence, and other information necessary to be able to send a proper invoice. I am obliged by law to keep invoices and payment details for 10 financial years in my bookkeeping.
2.5 Emails: You can get in touch with me through email. I will process the content of the email, your name and e-mail address with the intent of responding to your message. This form of communication is saved for a maximum of two years.
2.6 Newsletters: I would like to send you a newsletter, because you are a customer with me or because you have signed up for it. I therefore process your name and e-mail address to be able to receive your information and news related to your purchase / download. I offer the option under each newsletter to unsubscribe. I will keep your data for this purpose until you have unsubscribed.

I work with third-party service providers who, on my behalf and at my instruction, process certain personal data from you. For example, my hosting provider Squarespace and the provider of my email marketing. I have entered into data processing agreements with them to ensure that the required level of protection of your personal information is guaranteed.
Some of these third-party providers may be based outside of, or may have personnel or servers outside, the European Economic Area (EEA). That means that certain personal data may be transferred outside of the EEA, which is, according to the GDPR, only allowed if an adequate level of protection of personal information is guaranteed. The third parties I work with who transfer data outside of the EEA are self-certified under the EU-US and/or Swiss-US privacy shield framework. To avoid misuse of your personal information I may ask you to provide me with adequate identification (such as a passport copy with your photo blurred) before I process your request. I can only process requests from data subjects about their own data. Should you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or a complaint about how I deal with your personal information, please contact me so I can solve your question or complaint. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Natasja writes contains buttons/icons giving you quick access to my profiles or pages on social media networks such as Instagram. I’m not responsible for their processing of personal information. 6. Changes
The Privacy Policy may change from time to time, for example to comply with new regulations or because I am using a different work method.
